Steel Strapping

Steel Strapping is available in a wide range of sizes and gauges to accommodate your strapping requirements. Our edge conditioned steel strapping ensures a safe, rounded edge that is problem-free during application. Our High Tensile and Heavy Duty strapping conforms to Government, Railroad and ASTM specifications and is marked in accordance with the requirements of the Association of American Railroads.

• Finishes - All finishes are treated with a hard wax coating - a special Samuel "hot dip" process. This lubrication allows the steel strapping to flow smoothly in automatic machines, tools and around corners of all products, skids, crates or cartons.


• Painted - A hard baked-on gloss applied to both sides and edges helps the flow characteristics of the steel strapping.


• Zinc - Commonly used for prolonged outside storage, this finish offers greater rust resistance than regular painted material. Jumbo Coils For high volume applications, certain strap sizes are available in jumbo coils, ranging in weight from 250-2000 lbs (110-900 kg). Coil face ranges from 6" (152.4mm), 7-1/2" (190.5mm), 8" (203.2mm) and 12" (304.8mm).


• Packaging - Oscillated wound steel strapping coils are shrouded. Skids are normally shroud wrapped with cardboard for protection in transit.
